Park to the rescue

This new puppy of mine has lots and lots of energy. And I thought that having a back yard would be great to have her run around.

Both of us running around on the backyard.

But no. She just wants to be inside running around or on the couch biting my fingers and actually every part of my body.

She even bites my beard.

So..I took her to the park.

Keeping her tired

Yesterday I took her to the park to have her a bit more calm while going to the PetSmart class.

It actually worked great cause she was very calm and chill while the class was going on.

Everyone even said she was so relax. Little did they know I tired her out at the park.

This morning I figured I would do it again and have her be tired for when we got back home. Wanted to do some work.

Worked like a charm, she was tired and calm. Allowed me to do some work on the computer.

Didn’t last long

About noon she was back to full energy and it wasn’t long before she was buying me and wrestling with me on the couch.

I fully expected the large amount of energy she would have but I didn’t expect how tired I would be.

We tried to go for a walk around the neighborhood but she was not having it. For some reason she doesn’t want to go on the street.

Which is a good thing but that means that the park is the only option to get her tired.

And actually it’s weird cause she doesn’t do much walking she looks around and smells everything. But as soon as she gets in the car she is down for the count.

How is the training going?

All day I’ve been clicking the tool that was provided at the PetSmart class.

Giving her food everytime I click it.

I think she is getting it.

We also worked a little bit on the command sit. But she is a sitter so not sure if that’s going to go well. 😁

Tomorrow I will introduce the palm command and the sit command.

I’m excited to get a well trained dog 🐕🐕

Unfortunately, she is still biting me. But I’m working on that too.
